About the Job
Our client is a well-established public accounting firm providing forensic accounting, business valuation, and advisory services to clients across Family Law, commercial disputes, and insurance-related matters. The firm is known for its strong technical foundation, collaborative culture, and commitment to developing its professionals.
This is an existing vacancy within the firm's forensic accounting practice and represents a key leadership role. The Manager will work closely with senior forensic leadership to manage Family Law and Business Valuation engagements, support complex insurance and litigation-related projects, and contribute to practice growth and technical excellence.

What You'll Accomplish in This Role
Forensic Accounting Leadership

  • Lead and manage Family Law and Business Valuation engagements.
  • Oversee the review, critique, and finalization of forensic accounting and valuation reports.
  • Manage files end-to-end with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Work closely with lawyers, clients, and internal stakeholders to address file issues and present findings.
  • Support insurance claims, loss quantification, and other investigative work as required.
Technical Excellence & Compliance
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance across all forensic accounting engagements.
  • Apply technical expertise to legal, regulatory, and professional standards in forensic investigations and valuations.
  • Prepare financial schedules and reports for insured losses, litigation, and commercial disputes (e.g., cyber, fidelity, stock losses, personal injury, contract/shareholder disputes).
  • Participate in technical tasks, internal standards, and business development initiatives.
Team Development & Client Relationships
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, including accountability for operational aspects of client engagements.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Attend client sites and participate in meetings, presentations, and industry events as required.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • CPA designation required; CBV completed or actively pursuing.
  • Minimum 5+ years of forensic accounting / valuation experience.
  • Strong expertise in Family Law, owner-managed business valuations, and forensic investigations.
  • Experience with insurance claims is a strong asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English) strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, accounting, and auditing skills, with attention to detail and excellent organizational ability.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and able to manage multiple files independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation & Details
  • Base Salary: $130,000-150,000 + bonus
