As the Manager, Facilities & Workplace Experience at Arc'One, you will lead the charge in delivering a best-in-class experience for both employees and guests. Through exceptional service, operational excellence, and inspiring spaces, you'll help bring our brand to life every day.
You'll build and lead a high-performing team that creates spaces which enable and inspire, while fostering and elevating our culture in every interaction. Working closely with our Manufacturing and Distribution teams, you'll ensure our facilities, MEP systems, and office spaces run seamlessly safe, efficient, secure, sustainable, and aligned with our long-term workplace strategy.

Our work is organized around two pillars. Operations maintains and improves the physical infrastructure to protect safety, reliability, and business continuity. Workplace Experience shapes environments that enable our culture through exceptional service and thoughtful partnerships.
We partner closely with Manufacturing, Distribution, Health & Safety, and Security to keep people safe, secure and product flowing. We work with the Facilities Projects team to plan and execute new initiatives and to ensure a clean handoff into ongoing operations. We collaborate with Employee Enablement & Activations to bring culture and events to life in our spaces. We measure our impact through uptime, response times, employee experience, and sustainability metrics.

If you were our Manager, Facilities and Workplace Experience now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:



+

Facilities & Systems Operations (MEP-first):

+ Owning uptime and performance of all facilities and critical systems: property, building envelope, MEP, life safety, space planning, furniture, and fixtures
+ Leading all work in these domains, with preventive maintenance, lifecycle planning, disaster recovery, and contingency plans to protect business continuity
+ Running the request platform/CMMS, uphold SLAs, and keep user-facing interfaces accurate and current
+

Vendors & Stakeholders:


+ Building and managing contracts for security, cleaning, leasing, kitchen/canteen, waste management, etc.
+ Negotiating for quality and value, and align internal/external stakeholders to facility and business needs
+

Budget & Financials:


+ Developing and managing annual budgets with Arc'One teams, aligned to LTSP, team growth, and day-to-day business operations
+ Driving cost effectiveness and disciplined spending
+

Compliance & Risk:


+ Partnering with Asset Protection team to ensure conformance with building codes, health & safety, and all legal requirements
+ Monitoring regulatory changes and implement updates
+

Operational & Technical Support:


+ Leading line moves, new equipment installs; own all facility scope
+ Partnering with Asset Protection on Security, Health/Safety, and Emergency Preparedness
+ Introducing innovations/technology that improve reliability and throughput
+ Partnering with IT to deliver high-quality technology interface at workstations and AV in meeting, conferencing, and collaboration spaces

Guest Experience:


+ Managing sign-in, NDAs, and guest management software to deliver a smooth, secure experience
+

Employee Experience & Culture:


+ Partnering with People & Culture and people leaders to bring the Brand to life through events and activations
+ Supporting onboarding so new hires are set up for success
+ Planning and delivering events and gatherings as needed
+

Reporting, Metrics & Continuous Improvement:


+ Reporting priorities, in-flight projects, and pipeline to Arc'one and People & Culture leadership
+ Tracking and improving KPIs (uptime, response times, experience scores, operational efficiency)
+

Sustainability:


+ Supporting sustainability and waste programs with required environmental reporting
+ Reducing environmental impact via ongoing improvements and partnerships with internal sustainability teams and external stakeholders
+

Team Leadership:


+ Building and leading a high-performing F&WE team with clear goals, regular 1:1s, feedback and recognition with the overall goal of driving engagement
+ Defining role clarity and growth plans - maintaining a succession bench
+ Cross training for coverage; managing shift rotations to support production peaks and seamless business operations

+ Expand partnering with the Projects team representing Arc'One operations from design through handover + Building and scaling operating playbooks and standards across sites to enable multi-site operational leadership
+ Increasing exposure and accountability in site strategy through lease management, project direction and alignment with the long-term strategic plan
+ Strengthening sustainability outcomes across factories and distribution

Are you our future Manager, Faculties & Workplace Experience?



+ You have a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Building Engineering/Technology, Facilities Management or a Red Seal trade (Electrician, Millwright, Refrigeration/HVAC), or equivalent experience + You have 5+ years in facilities or operations, ideally in manufacturing or distribution environments
+ You are technically proficient: able to read architectural/MEP drawings and P&IDs; understands sequences of operation
+ You have strong working knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing/process water, compressed air, process exhaust, chillers and fire/life safety); comfortable with CMMS and building/energy management systems
+ You have strong interpersonal skills; handles difficult situations tactfully and professionally with a customer-service mindset
+ You are a proven cross-functional collaborator who balances teamwork with independent decision-making
+ You have a passion for staying current with workplace and operations trends and insights
+ You have demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and project management skills
+ You are an effective vendor partner and negotiator for selecting and managing service providers
+ You work effectively both independently and as part of a team
+ You are skilled at managing stakeholder relationships at all levels of the business
+ You are recognized for a continuous improvement mindset; proactive in identifying root causes and implementing solutions
+ You are highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time and priority management in live production environments
+ You are a natural leader capable of guiding direct teams and cross-functional project teams

$106,000 - $146,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$106,000 - CAD$146,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
