POSITION SUMMARY:



The Education Services Manager is responsible for the delivery of education throughout The Bethany Group organization


and for education provided to other organizations throughout the province as an outreach delivery method. The Education


Services Manager leads a team of educators and support staff to ensure the provision of education offers current and


comprehensive learning opportunities to meet all learning needs and will be required to develop and interpret policies as


needed. Travel will be required. Experience and knowledge with e-learning resources (Articulate software: Storyline 360) is


an asset.





QUALIFICATIONS:



(Education; Experience/Training; Knowledge; Licenses/Certificates; Membership Requirements)


Degree in related health discipline Certificate in adult education, public health, health education, mental health, gerontology or health
administration an asset


3 - 5 years' experience in adult education and/or health education desired Equivalencies in education / experience considered Valid Driver's License Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office, Virtual platforms, Learning Management Systems Knowledge of rapid e-learning development tools and software will be considered an asset

REQUIREMENTS:



o Responsible for the supervision, direction and assigning duties to staff


Be able to independently make decisions Develop and interpret policies as needed Ascertain educational needs and coordinate resources to meet the identified needs Leading a team of professional educators and support staff to: Plan, develop, coordinate and conduct annual education programs for all/or designated staff within the
facility
Plan, organize, implement and evaluate behavior management programs (outreach programs) Plan, develop, coordinate and/or deliver educational programs focused toward personal growth and
development


Research best practices to develop, revise and assess curriculum Develop and revise organizational policies based on current best practices and standards Assist in the clinical training for the Health Care Aides in conjunction with external educational facilities Coordinate skill development programs to acquaint staff and reinforce knowledge of new and existing procedures, policies and developments in respective areas


Develop e-learning resources (Articulate software: Storyline 360) The Bethany Group requires all health positions to submit their immunization status and vaccination history upon hire.

PAY RANGE:
