Reporting to the VP, Group Insurance, the Manager, Corporate Accounts will lead the execution of high-impact marketing campaigns, while managing and renewing strategic partnerships. This role is focused on deepening partner relationships and identifying new opportunities to expand their scope and value for both Sonnet and its business partners. T his role requires a confident communicator who can present compelling business cases, engage stakeholders at all levels, and influence executive decision-makers both internally and externally. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly collaborative, and brings a consultative approach to client management.


The successful candidate will foster a culture of collaboration across internal teams - including Marketing, CRM, Content, DCC, Claims, IT, and Legal to ensure seamless alignment in a fast-paced environment. With a strong focus on driving year-over-year profitable growth, this role demands strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and a results-oriented mindset.


What can you expect from this role?



Partner Marketing Delivery + Achieving Quote and GWP:



Partner collaboratively to secure alignment on the annual marketing plan, ensuring buy-in for the proposed mix of tactics and initiatives. Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing activities, including the timely delivery of creative assets, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance campaign performance and partnership growth. Monitor campaign results with precision, flagging risks to target achievement and presenting actionable solutions to the leadership team to ensure continuous improvement.

Group Launches:



Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, Digital Experience, and Communications teams to plan, ideate, and execute impactful partnership initiatives. Drive partner engagement and business growth through a strategic mix of promotional materials and value-added content tailored to partner audiences. Develop clear and compelling creative briefs, ensuring all deliverables align with campaign objectives and brand standards. Build and maintain strong partner relationships, continuously optimizing retention and renewal through proactive communication and strategic support. Serve as a trusted extension of partner organizations, providing dedicated relationship management to reinforce long-term collaboration. Establish performance goals and track key metrics, implementing action plans to meet and exceed partner satisfaction targets. Work closely with internal teams to monitor partner performance and ensure alignment across all touchpoints.

Relationship Management:



Cultivate & maintain strong relationships with partners to continuously improve on retention and renewal targets. Set goals and monitor metrics and actions plans to expand and achieve partner satisfaction targets. Develop and execute account strategies aligned with business objectives, including growth targets, engagement metrics, and partnership goals. Collaborate with external partners to plan, launch, and optimize marketing campaigns, communications, and co-branded initiatives. Track and report on account performance, campaign results, and engagement metrics. Use insights to inform future strategies and improve outcomes. Identify new partnership opportunities, upsell potential, and areas for deeper collaboration to maximize value for both parties. Support contract negotiations and ensure all partnership activities and commitments are communicated with internal and external stakeholders

Generate New Business Leads:



Conduct needs assessments and identify opportunities to develop new partnerships through referrals and testimonials from existing partners. Support team in identifying potential leads and assessing the quality of the business to ensure ongoing profitable growth. YOY growth target 10%+ with 60% of New Business coming from Group and Affinity

Leadership



Leads and empowers team by clearly communicating role expectations and the competencies required for success. Develops tailored growth plans to build critical skills, monitors progress against defined benchmarks, provides timely and constructive feedback, and recognizes strong performance. Ensures team members are effectively applying their knowledge to meet job expectations and achieve sales targets.

What do you bring to the role?



University Degree in a relevant discipline. Minimum 7-10-year experience, preferrable in a P&C environment and experience leading teams Demonstrated ability to lead high performing, highly engaged sales teams. Insurance-related (e.g. CIP, OTL license, ACS) an asset A natural ability to build trust, influence stakeholder and maintain strong productive relationships Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders Must have good project management skills such as communication and organizational skills and an ability to promote and manage internal teams toward project completion Proven experience managing complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders, timelines and deliverables A forward-looking mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans and measurable outcomes Clear, confident, and persuasive communication skills - both written and verbal

Salary Range:

$77,100 - $142,000

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
