Job Title Manager, Communications & Engagement
What is the opportunity? In this role, you will lead, own and drive the communication and engagement strategy for I&TS Client Operations Canada. This includes development and execution of a comprehensive strategic communication and engagement plan, ensuring alignment to the Client Ops objectives and the overarching I&TS vision and strategy. The purpose of this role is to empower, inspire and enable employees in I&TS Client Operations Canada holistically, to be successful today and in the future through communication, effective information sharing, transparency, and engagement, in a complex environment. What will you do?
Own and lead the development, planning and execution of the Client Ops Communications and Engagement strategy and roadmap in support of I&TS Client Ops business objectives, ensuring alignment with I&TS holistically, key RBC partners and with RBC\'s vision, strategy and values
Drive a holistic approach to communication and engagement activities across Client Ops teams, identifying synergies, leveraging best practices and synthesizing activities across a complex environment
Lead the end to end planning and seamless execution of the hybrid virtual and in-person employee town halls, ensuring meaningful and relevant content, and driving improvements to participation and engagement
Lead the planning and execution to promote the visibility of our leaders and supporting them in their engagement with employees
Form strategic partnerships with key partners across the organization, such as Corporate Communications, I&TS IT, other Comms Teams within I&TS, and across the enterprise as appropriate
Deliver insights through use of data to drive continuous improvement and strategic planning
Drive the enhancement and innovation of a robust, current and information rich information ecosystem, improving effectiveness of communications and information dissemination within I&TS Client Ops
Drive internal awareness for I&TS Client Ops employees to have access to the information needed to enhance their success
Anticipate communication and engagement needs and proactively identify solutions/strategic initiatives to drive an enhanced employee experience, in a rapidly changing and complex environment
Effectively manage communications and engagement budget
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
Minimum 3 years\' work experience with a focus on employee experience
Proven superior communication skills related to employee communications and engagement
Strategic thinker with thorough understanding of strategy development and planning processes, with proven ability to build and manage road maps
Ability to manage through complexity, ambiguity and rapid change
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, ability to drive impact and influence
Proven data mind-set, using data to drive adoption and continuous improvement and able to challenge the status quo
High Proficiency in storytelling and creation of decks for multiple audiences
Relevant technology knowledge (i.e., communication tools and platform)
