Apply your unique real estate operations, accounting, and technology skillset to lead the analysis and development of solutions to business system problems. Lead and support projects and real estate operations teams by sharing knowledge, skills, and mentoring others through the execution of their work.

Initiate opportunities to enhance business systems and processes by establishing relationships with business unit leads and their designated subject matter experts to drive value from systems for the organization through your experience in business operations, accounting, and technology. Help drive a culture of continuous improvement - challenging the status quo, ensuring consistency, and driving efficiencies.

Role can be based in Winnipeg, Toronto, Mississauga, Vancouver, or Calgary.

For candidates in British Columbia, the salary range for this position is $68,700 - $114,500 annually.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that applications meet business requirements and system goals, fulfill end-user requirements while identifying and resolving complex system issues through review, analysis and execution of fixes or opportunities all while aligning business goals with application roadmaps and priorities.
  • Maintain and lead upgrade cadence while testing and implementing new modules and upgrades which keep applications updated and performing at optimal levels.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures documentation.
  • Ensure that all documentation required for application governance both for GWLRA and Canada Life is completed appropriately and updated as needed.
  • Document appropriate training materials for individuals utilizing applications including Smart Cards and process flows.
  • Conduct initial and refresher training for individuals as needed.
  • Initiate and perform system and business process reviews to evaluate system utilization for maximum efficiency.
  • Work with real estate operations to document requirements and map them to system capabilities.

  • Ability to make decisions by utilizing unique skillset based on the information that is known at the time and be comfortable with the outcomes, good or bad.
  • Ability to lead a diverse group of stakeholders that include business users, vendors, and technical support resources to deliver projects and resolve issues.
  • The ability to instill confidence in business leaders in order to successfully lead assessments, improvement initiatives and remediation plans.
  • The ability to demonstrate superior communication skills through leading initiatives and using soft power to influence decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • CPA designation, or combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Yardi or similar ERP.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong query skills utilizing SQL and experience with Power BI an asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English) an asset.
  • Real Estate Industry knowledge is an asset.
