The incumbent will play a key role in understanding the needs of our patients, our partners, and our internal stakeholders across the Shoppers Drug Mart ecosystem to provide analysis and insights to understand and evolve our programs.What You'll Do:- Lead analysis-driven insights projects with recommendations to improve patient experience and outcomes, program design and operations, and program impact and profitability.
- Act as a conduit between client partners, SHN program management and operations teams, and the BII team to effectively understand and translate business and/or operational requirements into data-driven solutions and outputs.
- Provide thought leadership into the data and analytics strategy throughout the design, development, and deployment stages of various technical and digital systems and solutions.
- Guide the development of the CRM / data repositories and data analysis solutions using the best practices and the latest developments in the industry.
- Conduct strategic reviews of performance using data-driven insights to explain trends and identify key learnings.
- Create, develop, and deploy a suite of functional data outputs to drive internal performance management.
- Maintain and evolve forecasting and profitability models to understand and track program performance and its impact on the overall enterprise.What You'll Need:- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, with a preference for experience in the healthcare, pharmacy, and/or specialty medication space.
- Post-secondary education equivalent to a university degree in a numerate or analytical discipline such as Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with relational or non-relational database management systems and the ability to query relational databases directly and using BI software.
- Able to design data models and develop end-user data outputs, such as reports and dashboards, and oversee their end-to-end deployment into production.
- Excellent business acumen - clear and concise communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to provide recommendations and highlight financial implications for the purposes of achieving buy-in.
- High level of initiative to prioritize work amid competing demands and take projects from the exploratory phase to the delivery of final solutions/outputs with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to unite disparate, often complex sources of customer information such as market research data with internally generated transactional data and transform them into actionable insights, tactics, and strategies.
