Key Accountabilities:Validates business data using in-depth knowledge of data mapping, business glossary, metadata, and healthcare/aviation industry terminology and business process knowledge. Translates business requirements into benchmarks, matrices, dashboards, and KPIs to meet the organizational strategic plans and goals. Collaborates with partners and communicates analytical findings to teams in the enterprise. Reviews, validates, and creates report deliverables, utilizing business knowledge including policies, procedures, and processes for analyzing report results. Ensures accurate cross-system reporting and eliminates errors and duplication of efforts. Makes recommendations for data quality reviews to ensure system synchronization and determine the master data source to be used for all reporting purposes. Utilizes database concepts and integration experience to recommend data governance, quality, and cleansing programs. Coordinates and attends meetings with both internal and external representatives. Responds to information requests under director oversight and prepares documents for partner release pending director review. Provides evidence-based analysis for recommendations presented to external partners. Grows the design, development and delivery of solutions that elevate team effectiveness and capabilities, and the evolution of a high-performance culture. Drives process improvements by identifying of opportunities to automate using technology. Implements process and technology changes to improve and address challenges in our systems and reduce non-value-added work for their team. Focuses on data integrity and quality to provide greater insights and timely analysis, leading to better data-driven decision making. Measures and communicates success metrics to partners across the business. Communicates internal content to drive change management efforts. Plans and directs activities of Business Intelligence Analysts, coordinating workload and deadlines for the group. Coaches and develops a team of top talent creating a culture that fosters engagement, passion, and enthusiasm for the organization's vision, mission, and values.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or another related field. Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or another related field preferred. 7-9 years of experience in a healthcare organization is preferred, previous leadership/management experience is required. Experience working in a public sector organization would be considered an asset. Experience with data-mining SQL Server databases, MS certification(s) required. Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL). Understanding of data mining Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). Proficient in analytical tools like PowerBI and dashboarding. Proficient in statistics and data analysis principles and processes. Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external partners and staff. Exceptional leadership competencies required to work with our team of (4) Analysts.
