Job Title Manager, Business Finance



What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will have responsibilities spanning strategic financial and operational functions for the RBC Global Asset Management (GAM) North American Institutional business unit (BU). You will oversee and be fully responsible for various operational tasks, monthly and quarterly reporting packages, presentation materials, compensation plan calculations, and a variety of other critical work. What will you do?

Provide input, analysis and oversight on financial reporting, projects and tasks for the North American Institutional business unit.

Ownership of AUM reporting database including updates and enhancements

Significant contributor to annual budgeting, forecasting, and 5-year outlook cycle of North American Institutional business unit.

Preparation, review, and analysis related to key business results and metrics, as well as, compensation plans.

Responsible for identifying and implementing process efficiencies and scale for North American Institutional business unit.

Provide assistance with quarterly/annual regulatory reporting as required

Provide assistance with risk oversight functions, such as internal audit requirements, as required.

Complete other ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

Experience in a similar role, at least 5 years

Undergraduate Degree in a related field such as Accounting/Finance/Business

Nice to Have

Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills with presentation acumen

Advanced data management and modeling skills including DCF, ROI, and NPV calculations

Applicable post-secondary education (MBA) or relevant Finance/Accounting designation, including CPA or CFA

Experience in Tableau software and familiarity with databases

Experience in the Asset Management Industry
