Over 40,000 applicants apply to undergraduate programs at the University of Alberta every year.PositionReporting to the Assistant Registrar, Admissions (ARA), the Manager, Admissions uses a collaborative leadership model to direct and manage the operational decisions of the Admissions unit. Each Manager will directly oversee 8-10 employees made up of Specialists (Research & Curricula), Specialists (Evaluations) and Generalist Advisors.The Admissions unit is responsible for admissions to undergraduate programs at the University of Alberta and processes over 59,000 applications annually. The Managers oversee, evaluate, and set the operational priorities for the admission unit based on institutional enrolment management objectives, the analysis of data, and historical trends.As key members of the Admissions leadership team, Managers help to build a team that strives for service excellence and embraces continuous improvements. They are skilled at building relationships with colleagues across campus and often participate in collaborative efforts with faculties, business units and staff across the institution.
