We\xe2\x80\x99re building a thriving organization that\xe2\x80\x99s purpose driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.The Manager, Administrative Services is responsible for leading a team of Administrative Professionals that support our colleagues and enable us deliver on our purpose, to help clients, colleagues, and communities thrive.As a Manager, Administrative Services your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead a team of Administrative Professionals to ensure overall quality, consistency and efficiency of administrative support services provided to the New Brunswick Business Unit to meet the high standards of client service
  • Provide insight, feedback and trends to Regional Managers and assist with initiatives and strategies to deliver on the firm\xe2\x80\x99s purpose
  • Develop and maintain high quality relationship with all team members, other Managers, Administration, Partner/Principal group and all other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with Partners and other administrative team members to improve the internal and external client experience
  • Coach and develop Administrative Services team members by providing and overseeing ongoing confidence-building feedback, both verbal and written, conducting regular one-on-one meetings, as well as the leadership development for team members
  • Assign, distribute, delegate work, and allocate job responsibilities evenly among team members and manage completion to ensure maximum efficiency in the offices
  • Supervise Administrative team\xe2\x80\x99s vacation, work schedules
  • Working with Regional Manager, P&C and Talent Attraction with recruiting, onboarding, and departures of team members
  • Manage the Administrative team\xe2\x80\x99s needs and present issues to senior management as required
  • Oversee the delivery and efficacy of the team\xe2\x80\x99s training
  • Participate in cross functional projects such as office specific event planning
  • Coordination for office and real estate support including office renovations and moves
  • Provide administrative assistant support to various New Brunswick leaders
  • Provide support to the New Brunswick Management Committee and Service Line Leaders
  • Coordinate and supervise file destruction based on the Firm\xe2\x80\x99s destruction policies and procedures
  • Coordinate training for administrative team members of newly integrated firms
  • Additional duties as assigned

  • 6+ years of office administration experience in a senior role, in a fast-paced environment. Experience in a professional services environment would be an asset
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or the approved equivalent combination of education and/or related experience. Ability to direct, train and mentor peers and others
  • Professional attitude and ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Proven to be detail oriented, reliable, efficient, and diligent in duties and responsibilities
  • Outstanding organization skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, discretion, confidentiality, and diplomacy
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and against tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
