We are dedicated to fostering an environment that is not only conducive to research and learning, but also is welcoming and inclusive for all.About the RoleThe Manager, Academic and Administrative Services leads a team of staff responsible for ensuring efficient and effective support for both faculty and students. This is a leadership role that works in collaboration with senior administration on departmental matters and supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.To be successful, the ideal candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to plan and prioritize work for themselves and their team with a view to long term goals. This role supports all members of the Department (faculty, students, staff) and requires a people-centered approach while ensuring compliance with policy and process.QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, or a relevant discipline and five years of related experience in financial administration, operational management, strategic planning, project management, personnel management, faculty affairs and curriculum development, planning and coordination.

  • Excellent knowledge of university policies, procedures, protocol and governance.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment practices and the ability to understand and apply collective agreements.
