We use FOAM to build the fastest, safest and cheapest way to move money at scale.

The Position

We are hiring a talented accounting professional to join our growing business! If you are hard working, attentive, detail oriented and passionate about finance, this role is for you!

Responsibilities will include:

  • Purchasing supplies and equipment as authorized by management
  • Tracking supplier invoices and ensuring that they are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensuring that receivables are collected promptly
  • Conducting weekly reconciliations of bank account accounts in Xero
  • Assisting with creation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Assisting with assembly of information for external auditors in connection with the annual audit
  • Performing financial analysis on a monthly basis to be used by the leadership team (example: budget vs actual)
  • Maintaining an orderly accounting filing system
  • Assisting with maintaining the annual budget
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to management as requested (expense reviews, assisting with compiling reports for the board of directors and undertaking strategic analysis)

Problem Solver: Your approach is methodical and you\'re naturally driven by finding solutions.

Analytical: Through the application of your experience and expertise, you can easily identify weaknesses in procedures and are confident in your ability to make appropriate recommendations in operations and processes.

Job Requirements:
  • CPA qualification preferred
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience + exposure to Xero
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excel in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
