Why this Job is Important:

Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the Manager of Accounting and Finance will lead President\xe2\x80\x99s Choice Financial and Services (PCF&S) accounting operations including, but not limited to, the financial close, financial reporting, and the accounting internal control function.

What You\'ll Do:

• Lead the financial close process and reporting on the financial position of PCF&S against various financial benchmarks
• Lead the general accounting functions, including inter-company transactions, reconciliations, payments, general ledger maintenance, and accounting for complex transactions in compliance with IFRS
• Prepare monthly and periodic financial reporting packages
• Drive continuous improvement in the financial control environment through the implementation of best practices
• Liaise with business partners to help solve problems, support new initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in the accounting process
• Provide guidance and coaching to the team of financial analysts and identify training opportunities to help facilitate the achievement of the team\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and independent development goals
• Champion PCF&S and the broader enterprise DE&I and core values
• Support the various internal control and risk functions

What You\'ll Need:

• Completion of a CPA designation or in the advanced stages of the program
• A minimum of 3 years of management experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions and across companies within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with managing multiple deliverables with conflicting deadlines
• Strong continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive process change
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong technical skills (IFRS, SAP, Excel)
