Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Support Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of Accounting, HR and IT functions and related staff. Working with their team, they will ensure adequate service, systems, safeguards and processes for:
Financial functions of accounting, AR, AP, payroll, financial reporting
HR functions such as hiring, onboarding/offboarding, performance management, terminations, employee records
Operational Systems support, including MS suite (Teams, Emails, Office), Restore, XM8/XA and 24 hour call support.
Routine provision of IT hardware and software for staff needs
General Office support such as reception, office supplies, building security.
This individual will need great teamwork and supervisory skills as they supervise and direct staff (currently 6) and provide services to an organization of over 60 staff. The primary focus and experience of the candidate must be accounting, financial reporting and associated analysis for operational decision making. On top of those core responsibilities, this individual needs to be comfortable with supporting the organization\xe2\x80\x99s HR and IT needs, although there is support and mentorship of this role available for the right candidate if they are not strong yet in these areas.
