Department Overview Responsible for the planning, purchasing, inventory management, and product movements of ACM access control products to meet customer requirements.



In this role you will:

Be responsible for the planning, purchasing, inventory management, and product movements of ACM access control products to meet customer requirements.

Work collaboratively with Tech Support, Legal, Service-, Product-, Sales-, COM, and Supply Chain Management to optimize performance

Optimize the aEUR~quote to cashaEUR(TM) process for Access Control transactions from customer orders through vendor fulfillment

Primary supplier interface of Access Control Hardware and Services, including relationship management, supplier performance, business reviews, and point of contact for all supplier escalations

Evaluate, make recommendations, and develop ACM procurement policies and procedures.

Manage and mentor the Supply Chain team, including setting performance objectives, regular team meetings and communicating direction and changes, and training

Create an efficient procurement culture based on strong process, continuous improvement, and team development.

Collaborate to design, develop, and implement processes to support the flow of ACM data and materials to customers as well as reverse logistics.

Drive and support the automation of drop ship (ACM) materials through SAP sales order entry processes including the development of the ecommerce solution.

Develop reporting and monitor special pricing events to ensure gross margin targets are achieved on ACM products.

Define and execute the strategic vision for procuring raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods to support changing customer requirements

Liaise with Product Management and Sales on material requirements for the transition of new and existing products into manufacturing.

Develop metrics and use data to drive continuous improvement into support of supply chain strategy

Reduce total cost of acquisition for Access Control Products including internal operational costs and external materials and services costs.

Analyze complex situations and data, providing creative solutions to achieve desired result

Qualifications:

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree required in business or technical field or similar experience

PMAC, SCMP, APICS, C.P.M. or equivalent certification preferred

Experience within supply chain organization would be an asset

5 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in a similar management role, within a manufacturing service environment, or supply chain organization.

Preference for operations management or supply chain background.

Excellent English communications skills, both written and verbal

Ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations required

Working knowledge of SAP ERP system, within a manufacturing environment required. Preferred

Detail oriented with a willingness to adapt and be flexible in a growing company.

Strong business acumen, a passion for structured problem solving.

Basic Requirements

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree required or similar experience

PMAC, SCMP, APICS, C.P.M. or equivalent certification preferred

5 yearsaEUR(TM) experience in a similar management role, within a manufacturing service environment, or supply chain organization.
