Managed Account Representative (remote) Position Summary
The Remote Managed Account Representative (MAR) is responsible for inside sales and customer service.
The role includes developing quality relationships with our customers, providing superior customer service, and educating our customers on our products to increase sales, under the guidance of the Inside
Sales Manager.
This position also assists our clients in understanding the clinical applications and related techniques for the products we offer, along with informing them of new products and techniques and any continuing education courses that we may offer.
This role often involves working with outside partners to effectively manage their territories in regard to customer service and sales goals
The role may involve travel and office visits when it is necessary to aid in customer service and territory growth.
The role may involve attending a limited number of seminars, trade shows and hands-on workshops. This position reports directly to the Inside Sales and Customer Service Supervisor. Accountabilities: 1. Providing Superior Customer Service & Creating Quality Relationships with Customers
  • Build trust with their customers by educating themselves on the structure of their client\xe2\x80\x99s offices. Understanding customer profiles, contacts and the times to best communicate with them is an important part of this relationship.
  • Ability to travel for in-person meetings when needed to provide sales & customer service support to customer base in region.
  • Know their customer details and specifics within their territory bases. A remote MAR manages between 2-3 territories.
  • Inform clients of any upcoming seminars, tradeshow, and workshops, as they become available.
  • Provide knowledge and education on all products to provide technical assistance and provide guidance and information to their clients on our products.
  • Handle customer inquiries, issues and returns.
  • Process all orders accurately and efficiently for the territories being managed.
2. Increase Customer Sales
  • Responsible for planning a calling cycle based on their customer base as well as their outside partner\xe2\x80\x99s travel plan.
  • Work closely with their outside partner to manage their territory, working together to achieve budget along with various sales focuses. *more*
  • Responsible for making outbound calls to customers in accordance with Key Performance
  • Indicators (KPI\xe2\x80\x99s). To do this effectively the MAR should know and understand the products and techniques that the dentist may use in their office.
  • Implement our sales process on all outbound and inbound calls with each client. The MAR\xe2\x80\x99s goal is to evolve every client into a good customer by maximizing the number of products used by each account by getting more products into their office.

3. Educate our Customers about our Products, Techniques and Services
  • Continuous Education and self-learning are critical for this role.
  • Understanding and learning about techniques being used in our client\xe2\x80\x99s office to ensure they are using the products correctly is required.
  • Ensure that clients are educated on clinical techniques of all products or informed of where this information is available.
  • Attend all local education courses and tradeshows with sales representatives in the region.
4. Ability to Perform Various Computer Applications
  • Using different computer programs for order entry such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV. Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel, and internet browsing are needed for daily sales functions.
  • Advanced ability to use all remote technology and tools to work 100% remotely and manage your time to be accountable for all role responsibilities.
  • Access to a private and professional workspace to engage in frequent customer conversations on a daily basis.
5. Policies and Procedures
  • Knowledge and acceptance of all company policies.
  • Knowledge of all shipping policies including freight charges and shipping locations available.
  • Awareness of the ISO policies and procedures and applying them to all aspects of work.
  • Applicable job-related ISO Procedures as outlined in the ISO training matrix. All ISO training is maintained and administered by the ISO Management Representative.
Qualifications:
  • Reliable stable high speed internet access and a professional workspace to accommodate frequent phone and zoom calls.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience working in a sales call center environment.
  • Strong computer and organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Demonstrated excellence in sales
  • Bilingual (French) preferred
  • Dental experience an asset
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethics; sets a personal example
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
