Title: Maintenance Technician Charlottetown - Full Time Provincial Property Management manages various healthcare and commercial properties across Prince Edward Island. We are seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to keep our facilities in good repair and operating efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of building maintenance and repair. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks on building equipment and systems, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry work
• Respond to maintenance requests and diagnose and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Perform general cleaning, painting, snow removal and landscaping tasks
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and materials used
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards
• Move furniture and equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks & inspections
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the facilities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in building maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as required
• Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
