Job Title Maintenance Technician Summary Title: Janitorial/Maintenance Worker
Location: Place Bathurst Mall, Bathurst, NB
Reporting to: Senior Property Manager, Place Bathurst Mall
Scheduled hours: 37.5 hours per week minimum,
(Rotating schedules which include weekends and evenings)

The purpose of this position is to perform day to day maintenance and
customer service duties required to keep the property safe and presentable for
customers, staff, and tenants. Tasks & Responsibilities of this position include: \xef\x82\xb7 Complete daily inspections of the property \xef\x82\xb7 Monitor the property for health & safety or liability concerns and act accordingly to rectify the concern. (i.e., Situations that may pose \xe2\x80\x9cslip & fall\xe2\x80\x9d incidents) \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure that specific areas of the property are in proper condition for inspections \xef\x82\xb7 Remove ice and snow from entrances, walkways and other areas as may be required \xef\x82\xb7 Notify direct supervisor of required repairs needed in a timely manner \xef\x82\xb7 Conduct any necessary minor repairs to the property \xef\x82\xb7 Preserve the \xe2\x80\x9ccurb appeal\xe2\x80\x9d of the property ensuring the overall appearance of the property is maintained to a high standard \xef\x82\xb7 Respond to tenant(s) concerns in a timely manner \xef\x82\xb7 Assist groups with \xe2\x80\x9cset-up\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9ctear-down\xe2\x80\x9d of materials \xef\x82\xb7 Any other tasks as assigned by the operation supervisor and/or property manager Skills & Experience Required: The ideal candidate will possess: \xef\x82\xb7 Minimum of High School Graduation Diploma /equivalency or related work experience \xef\x82\xb7 Strong customer service skills \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to communicate in French and English \xef\x82\xb7 Good written communication skills either in French or English \xef\x82\xb7 Be self-motivated, diplomatic, and reliable \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to operate power tools and perform minor repairs \xef\x82\xb7 Knowledge of a trade a definite asset \xef\x82\xb7 Willingness to learn and be a \xe2\x80\x9cteam oriented\xe2\x80\x9d individual \xef\x82\xb7 Highly organized and able to prioritize workload \xef\x82\xb7 Must be able to provide Clear Criminal Background Certificate Physical demands: \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to lift 20 lbs., ability to stand, walk and bend for periods of time \xef\x82\xb7 Use various cleaning products in the workplace \xef\x82\xb7 Shoveling, sweeping and being outside during all times of the years If you, or anyone that you know of, are interested in applying for this position, please forward your resume to: Place Bathurst Mall Administration Office 1300 St Peter Avenue, Suite 200 Bathurst, NB E2A 3A6 Attention: Renelle Landry, Senior property manager Email: renelle.landry@cushwake.com
