Overview

We are seeking an individual who must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associates Degree in Electronics, or Mechanical or other related field preferred. Technical training, exposure to high-speed equipment. 2+ years of related experience in production machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with 2+ years experience in Assembly, Manufacturing And Equipment Maintenance, understanding Programming PLC's Pneumatics, and Robotic Systems is a plus, Control system experience is a plus, Electrical systems installation up to 480 VAC. Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventative maintenance services. Operation of Tool Room Equipment (I.E. Grinders, Welding & Fabricating, Drill Press Etc.) This job requires excellent communication skills , and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties:

Must be able to read and utilize mechanical and electrical schematics to assist in troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical and electronic components. Must be able to follow electrical prints defining power and signal wiring. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Comply with Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations. Perform other duties as assigned or needed. Assures all documentation is error free and completed in a timely manner. Follow and support company policies and procedures. Promote self-directed workforce. Must be able to work overtime when required. Afternoon shift
