Position Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by overseeing the preventative maintenance and repair of plant equipment to ensure uninterrupted day to day operations. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for developing trained and capable front line union/non-union employees.
Key Responsibilities:

• Applies theoretical understanding and practical knowledge of operations, repair procedures, trouble shooting and preventative maintenance to support facility equipment reliability
• Oversees and maintains support equipment including air compressors, water treatment, refrigeration, hydraulics, electrical, boilers and sanitation
• Oversees and maintains building infrastructure including welding and fabrication, concrete/asphalt and roofs
• Oversees and maintains production line (filling, coding and conveying)
• Sets front-line performance standards providing coaching and feedback to build capability and improve performance
• Leads TPM implementation of PM Phase 1 pillar assigned such as work order management, BDA, or spare parts management

Qualifications/Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management
• Fully computer literate
• 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment particularly in high-speed packaging, food processing experience an asset
• PLC Certification & Electrical ticket an asset
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Experience working in a unionized environment
• Strong planning, analytical, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead meetings with hourly employees
• Excellent Leadership skills
• Knowledge of all Labour and Health & Safety Regulations
