A well-rounded multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for the optimization of metal extraction from our ore. We aim to plan production, monitor, improve and report the performance of the Mill operation through technical excellence throughout the value chain including, ore blending and handling, crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering, and metal.The Opportunity:We are currently seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join our Clarabelle Mill in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent position.As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will be helping to facilitate the continuous improvement of the Maintenance team\xe2\x80\x99s performance, through the effective use of established processes and procedures. You will be primarily accountable for scheduling various disciplines at various locations within Clarabelle Mill.Additionally, in this position you will:

  • Work Monday to Friday, 8-hours day shift.
  • Adhere to maintenance business processes as outlined in Maintenance Planning and Control (MPC) by using approved systems (SAP, Prometheus, etc.), tools, and standards.
  • Execute the \xe2\x80\x9cScheduling\xe2\x80\x9d element of the process for all types of work orders - systematic and non-systematic maintenance. This includes shutdown (PMP) and external resource-related work.
  • Coordinate and facilitate with the Planner and Supervisor to ensure all required planning/scheduling routines are followed.
  • Identify and escalate all critical issues that threaten the successful execution of the \xe2\x80\x9cwork schedule\xe2\x80\x9d for completion by Required End Date.
  • Manage backlog to ensure work orders are planned and scheduled with an emphasis on safety and ready to be executed prior to the required end date as determined through the notification. Ensure work order user statuses are properly maintained throughout the lifecycle of the work order and closed with proper time confirmations completed.
  • Monitor maintenance metrics (KPIs) and actively strive toward plant targets.
  • Coordinate contractor work/resources as required.
  • Establish and maintain work relationships with the various key plant stakeholders including superintendents, supervisors, other schedulers, planners, crew members, etc.
About YouEducation:
  • Grade 12 completed or GED equivalency is required.
Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Work Management (Planning/Scheduling).
  • Experience with SAP or other computer-based maintenance management systems.
  • Heavy industrial maintenance experience would be an asset.
Skills:
  • Ability to prioritize asset\xe2\x80\x99s maintenance to ensure plant reliability.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to stay organized and chair meetings in person and remotely.
  • Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be obsessed with safety and risk.
  • Must demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
