Job Description

Reporting to the Underground Maintenance Superintendent, you will be part of the Maintenance Department. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle\xe2\x80\x99s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Supervise the stationary planning group to ensure quality planning of all maintenance activities (ex hoisting plant, dewatering system, compressor plant, material handling, crushing, grinding, leaching, etc.);
• Ensure stationary planners have clear direction and prioritize responsibilities;
• Manage CMMS (SAP) database;
• Develop standard PM templates for jobs that are repetitive where they need only one time planning;
• Establish bills of materials (BOMS) and task lists in SAP;
• Establish scheduled maintenance programs and PM\xe2\x80\x99s in accordance with (IAW) OEM requirements;
• Establish preventative maintenance conditions monitoring programs and associated PM\xe2\x80\x99s to improve plant and equipment availability;
• Continually review maintenance intervals to maximize plant availability and determine area of fixed and mobile plant improvement;
• Produce monthly reports on maintenance KPIs, costs, spares availability, looming issues for the Maintenance Team;
• Produce 12 month rolling shut downs plan on monthly basis.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified \xe2\x80\x93 Mechanical Fitter or Electrical/Instrumentation;
• MMC Certificate or higher in Maintenance Planning (PEMAC);
• Knowledge and understanding of OH&S Act and Regulations for Mines and Mining Plants;
• Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience maintaining mineral processing plants (preferably gold);
• Minimum 3 years CMMS experience essential (preferably SAP);
• Ability to build and use maintenance libraries for repairs;
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings;
• Ability to write detailed reports;
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Project.

• Schedule: 4/3 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
