Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow blueprints and schematics effectively. The Painter will be responsible for restoring surfaces, applying finishes, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Restore and maintain surfaces to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal. Work with drywall and perform necessary repairs prior to painting. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Operate power tools safely and effectively during the painting process. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting, industrial painting, or commercial painting is preferred. Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Knowledge of various painting materials and techniques. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require lifting or rigging materials. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
