Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in a timely manner. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams. Collaborate with production staff and other team members to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications:

Millwright certification or completion of an apprenticeship program is a strong asset Previous experience in a mechanical maintenance role within an industrial or manufacturing environment is an asset. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Schedule:

12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). 4 days on, 4 days off
