We are currently seeking a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative
Maintenance Mechanic
to join our team at Reunion Coffee Roasters.
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will maintain production and quality by ensuring seamless, cost-effective operation of machinery and mechanical equipment throughout the facility. Reporting to the plant manager, you will complete preventive maintenance requirements on roasting, processing, and packaging equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions by following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.

What you'll do:
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments
Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance
Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop tools and equipment
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level
Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Provide mechanical maintenance information
Prepare mechanical maintenance reports (as required) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends;
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and establishing personal networks
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
What we're looking for:
3-5 years' mechanic experience on high-speed packaging lines
Food and beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing maintenance experience
Maintenance planning and/or coordination experience an asset
Millwright license
Forklift/scissor-lift experience preferred
Able to take direction, both verbal and written, and communicate effectively
Must be able to work well both independently and in a team environment
