Maintenance Manager
to join our team and take responsibility for the general maintenance of our facility, equipment, and vehicles. This position also involves handling deliveries and pick-ups with a company truck.
Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Manager, you will play a vital role in keeping our facility and equipment running smoothly. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the entire facility, including vehicles, equipment, and performing general repairs, including carpentry. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating the company truck for pick-ups and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on the facility to ensure it remains safe, clean, and operational.
Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain, repair, and service company vehicles and equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly and ready for use.
Carpentry & General Repairs:
Complete minor carpentry projects and general repairs to support the facility's operational needs.
Pick-up and Delivery:
Drive the company truck to handle deliveries and pick-ups as needed, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently.
Troubleshooting & Preventative Maintenance:
Proactively identify and resolve any maintenance issues to avoid downtime and keep operations running smoothly; conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential maintenance needs or safety hazards.
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Record Keeping:
Record and maintain a log of all maintenance work.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in facility, vehicle, and equipment maintenance.
Carpentry skills and experience in general repairs.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for pick-ups and deliveries).
Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and industry compliance standards.
This role typically involves 30-40 hours per week. The successful candidate may also be asked to work on weekends periodically, depending on the season.
