Irving Wallboard (Atlantic Wallboard) is a highly automated manufacturing facility that provides a broad range of gypsum wallboard products for use in the construction industry. Our top-quality wallboard is made in our 300,000 square foot facility, one of the newest and most modern wallboard manufacturing facilities in North America. From residential to commercial, we produce a full array of products in widths up to 54 inches with multiple lengths and edge details.

The Construction and Equipment Division, a part of the J.D. Irving, Limited\xe2\x80\x99s group of companies, is a key player in the North American construction industry. Our core businesses are Irving Equipment, Gulf Operators, CFM, Irving Wallboard, and Kent Homes and the group provides heavy equipment and crane services, civil construction, modular home and commercial buildings, gypsum manufacturing, machining, technical services, repair, and overhaul to its customers.

We are currently looking for a highly energetic and motivated individual to join our talent pipeline and team as Maintenance Manager for Irving Wallboard. In this role, you will be encouraged to offer new and innovative ideas that drive improvement and achieve results. You will also lead a high performing team that works together to ensure that business objectives are met and exceeded.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Maximize team output through engagement and performance management
• Department Safety coach (provide guidance on risk mitigation as needed)
• Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies
• Maximize plant uptime
• Monitor weekly schedule performance and respond to gaps
• Maintain weekly and monthly maintenance schedule
• Oversee the facility and reliability risk management plan.
• Oversee the MRO & stockroom processes and activities.
• Oversee and lead continuous improvement programs and projects
• Develop, maintain and report on Maintenance, Facilities and Capital budgets
• Coordinate and oversee shutdown

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Engineering, with industrial experience required
• Strong leadership capabilities
• Experience with project management, job planning/scheduling, evaluating proposals, working with contractors, and reading engineering drawings
• Shutdown experience will be considered an asset
• Experience with facilities management/maintenance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project, Excel, Word, and CMMS Software with Work Order Management would be an asset
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong technical background
• Quick to learn new systems and processes
• Experience creating and working within a budget
• Strong communication skills
