Maintenance Manager

Job Description




We are seeking an Area Maintenance Manager for a permanent position, reporting to the District Manager, you will be responsible for safety and profitability of operations within their assigned territory.

The focus of this position is to meet client commitments and pursue future growth opportunities related to our core business functions: demand and long-term industrial maintenance support, plant shutdowns and turnarounds, field construction and project management.

This position is permanent role based out of our Cold Lake district.

What would you be doing?

  • Identify and managemaintenance dependencies and critical paths.
  • Proactively manage changes in maintenance scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans adhering to strict change management.
  • Ensure maintenance success through political sensitivity and communication.
  • Ensure the project team adheres to the quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
  • Direct and guide maintenance development from beginning to end.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve maintenance goals.udget and recommend subsequent budget changes whe
  • Ensure all fleet vehicles are maintained to company and government legislative standard.
  • Maintain asset inventory and distribution of all non-fleet billable assets and ensuring asset numbers are applied and transmitted to Operational Finance for entry into billing system.
  • Participate in the onboarding process of new workers for NSC, Driving Policy and Fleet Card Policy..
  • Daily Geotab surveillance of all vehicles and report to operations any non-approved vehicle utilization.
  • Maintain record of all vehicle assignments by location, project and duration following company vehicle assignment policy.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance schedules such as overhead door, crane inspections, fire extinguisher inspections and other property maintenance as required.
