Interprovincial Cooperative Limited (IPCO), a respected leader in the Agricultural industry, is currently recruiting Casual (Maintenance) Labour to join our Maintenance team. Successful candidate will begin on or around May 1, 2023. This is a seasonal position for approximately 9 weeks and will consist of 37.5 hours per week working Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday 7am \xe2\x80\x93 3pm. Pay rates start at $17.61 per hour. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do: Casual (Maintenance) Labour, under the guidance of the Millwright and Maintenance Superintendent, are responsible for contributing to safe, quality, and efficient basic preventative maintenance, equipment set-up, troubleshooting and equipment modification. Cleaning after completing repairs and returning tools/parts to the maintenance shop. You will be responsible for following all health and safety requirements including wearing personal PPE, following all company policies and procedures and other company programs such as respectful workplace and contamination prevention, meeting expectations of the position, and performing all other duties as assigned. Who you are: You are looking for a career in maintenance in manufacturing and: Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25kg floor to waist and 25kg waist to shoulders
• Extensive lifting, walking, standing, bending, and pushing
• Ability to perform repetitive activities
• Occasionally bending and turning while lifting weights of less than 25kg
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform daily preventative maintenance tasks on plant equipment

Qualifications:

• Mechanical background required (must be mechanically inclined)
• Experience using hand and air tools
• Excellent troubleshooting ability
• 1-2 years experience working with machinery in an industrial setting
• Solid work references, punctual/dependable with reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team environment, a can-do attitude, and ability to multi-task
