T???ch? Property Management is responsible for owning, leasing, sourcing, maintaining, and managing a variety of commercial and residential buildings across the four T???ch? communities: Behchok??, Gameti, Whati, and Wekweeti.



T???ch? Property Management is looking for an experienced, organized, reliable, and dependable

Maintenance Labourer (Casual)

to join our team located in Behchok??, NT.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct tenant move-in and move-out inspections Be on-call for tenant-related maintenance issues Snow clearing as required Fuel delivery as required Coordinate and schedule materials as needed (Manager's approval required) Fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, and interior/exterior trim Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe, clean work environment Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures using woodworking machines, hand tools, or power tools Assemble and fasten materials to make frameworks or structures using screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue Remove damaged or defective parts of structures and repair or replace them as required Inspect ceilings, floors, wall coverings, siding, glass, or woodwork to identify damage Move materials around the job site as assigned Clean up worksite debris Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager Maintain excellent safety standards while ensuring high-quality work and efficient completion

Requirements:

Maintenance experienced required Minimum Grade 12 education Good communication and effective listening skills Ability to work independently and productively

Valid NWT Class 5 Driver's Licence required

Ability to speak and/or understand the T???ch? language is considered an asset
