This role exists because we are scaling and need someone who can
own projects end-to-end
, keep people accountable, and move work forward without constant oversight.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, vendor and risk management, and various project management tools. This role offers an opportunity to lead diverse teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The Role (What You'll Actually Do)
You will be responsible for
planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and renovation projects
across a growing portfolio of residential properties.
This is not a desk-only role.
You will:
Manage existing leads and generate new leads.
Manage
multiple renovation and maintenance projects at once
Coordinate with
clients
,
subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and internal staff
Scope jobs, sequence work, and keep timelines realistic and moving
Track budgets, change orders, and material needs
Visit sites regularly to ensure quality and progress
Identify issues early and solve them before they become problems
Communicate clearly with ownership and internal teams
Improve systems and workflows as you see inefficiencies
Implement project management best practices using existing and new software.

construction or renovation project management experience

Has only academic or theoretical PM experience
Is uncomfortable being on job sites
Expects everything to already be perfectly documented
Required Experience
3+ years in
construction, renovation, or facilities project management
Strong understanding of residential building systems
Experience coordinating multiple trades
Valid driver's license and ability to travel between local sites
Strong communication and follow-through
Nice to Have
Experience with property management or rental portfolios
Familiarity with scheduling, budgeting, and PM tools
Red Seal, construction background, or hands-on trade experience
