Maintenance Director

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Plant Operations in L'Islet, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance team and developing the physical potential of the plant.

On a daily basis, you will:

Support the maintenance team in managing operations Manage the maintenance budget to optimize allocated resources Develop and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance plans for the plant's equipment and buildings Control manufacturing processes Ensure compliance with applicable health and safety standards related to equipment Oversee and develop the personnel directly under your supervision Advance the development of a 4.0 smart factory Stay up to date with technological advancements

You're the candidate we're looking for if you have:



A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (DEP or technical diploma also accepted) Membership in the OIQ (an asset) At least 10 years of experience in maintenance 5 to 10 years of management experience Proven achievements in managing technical teams Leadership, organizational skills, and creativity Strong interpersonal and coaching abilities Familiarity with the Microsoft Office environment Strong communication skills in both French and English to interact with internal stakeholders
