We\xe2\x80\x99re seeking a Maintenance Coordinator \xe2\x80\x93 Planner who is passionate about demonstrating and modeling purposeful and strategic leadership while building value!
Supporting Major Maintenance, this role is responsible for developing work packages that support safe, efficient, and effective execution of maintenance work. This role will also involve planning, coordinating, and supervising events within the Upgrader.
Minimum Requirements:
Five years experience in supervision or field coordination within a multi-discipline trade environment
A Post-secondary degree in engineering or a mechanical or electrical trade certification
Strong computer skills including SAP, Excel, and Word & Power point
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
A valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a clean driving record

Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate closely with the team\xe2\x80\x99s planning specialist on outage planning priorities and requirements
Develop and execute work packages through collaboration between Scheduling, M&R Program Planners, Maintenance Execution, Operations, Reliability/Maintenance Engineering, and Supply Chain
Manage outage maintenance activities to ensure safe, environmentally responsible, reliable, and cost-effective planned maintenance
Support our planning and scheduling department with schedule compliance by ensuring accountability of scope planning, execution, and closure
Monitor all maintenance activities, and provide area input to break-in and planned maintenance, as well as equipment midlife planning, scope of work and support activities
Work closely with our operations team shift supervisor and operations department for safing and HEI requirements
Assist the outage team with the preparation of work packages and support supervision on the availability of services and material to ensure all jobs are executed as planned
Use your deep understanding to review processes for continuous improvement opportunities and strive to implement changes that improve the business
Location & other key details
You will work out of our Base Plant site in Fort McMurray, Alberta
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, 6 x 1 OT schedule during outages
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory. Relocation support may be provided; we offer competitive housing assistance to eligible individuals
