Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Coordinator to manage and execute maintenance work requested from residential tenants. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a solid background in general property maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance resolution, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and vendors.

Duties



Coordinate maintenance activities across multiple residential units, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Manage maintenance projects from initiation to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Utilize our Maintenance Tracking system (MaintainX) to keep up-to-date records of maintenance requests and solutions. Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance requests. Provide general maintenance when required including things such as, drywall patching, minor repairs, replacing light fixtures, replacing toilet seals, etc. Conduct regular inspections of rental units as well as smoke/CO alarm testing. Schedule and perform some regular home maintenance tasks. Coordinate tenants and vendors for maintenance work to be completed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management review. May need to provide light housekeeping duties

Requirements



General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating systems as well as general handyman skills. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to read and interpret instructions for troubleshooting purposes on appliances as well as other general home maintenance tasks. Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with Tenants, Landlords and Vendors across multi-media applications. Skilled in Microsoft 365 applications including, Outlook, Word, Excel and Sharepoint. Must be able to provide a clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening - cost will be reimbursed upon receiving an approved screening Must have a valid G driver's license
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Work Location: In person
