Description:

Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Jansen, SK. The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible to build, maintain and operate the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database, as well as training site customers and maintenance staff on SAP and implementing the work request/order process.

The Maintenance Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring that all Work Orders and requests are received, scheduled, completed, recorded, and entered into the work management system (CMMS) on a timely basis and in accordance with contract requirements, company policy, and site requirements.

Where We Work and Live:

The Jansen Discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the a potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK.

Our positions work on a 14 day on, 14 days off rotation. Accommodations and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a conciliatory relationship with customers, vendors, and maintenance personal.
  • Build the CMMS database, entering all locations, assets, preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, PM schedules vendors, materials, and tools. Coordinate with the site maintenance manager/coordinator for accurate information.
  • Build an equipment handbook and safety practices database for use on-site.
  • Train maintenance personal on SAP and work as a team to implement a viable work request/order process and a document management process.
  • Generate, organize, and provide preventive maintenance documents to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor in a timely manner each month.
  • Manage completed Preventive Maintenance documents from the sites to a centralized file system in Calgary. Where applicable, open Corrective Maintenance (CM) work orders and document corrective measures for work completed, materials used, and time is taken to complete tasks. Once finished, complete and close the Corrective Maintenance work orders.
  • Open daily new work requests raised by the customer of each site and generate them into CM work orders.
  • Receive completed work requests from sites, open Work Orders, and enter data, materials used, and time taken to complete tasks and complete and close.
  • When applicable, open reimbursable work orders. Complete and close when documents are received from each site. Maintain files for closed Reimbursable work orders.
  • Maintain a database for material and tool inventory including the vendor\'s list.
  • As directed, work with site-based staff to issue purchase orders for materials, tools, or contract work required.
  • Develop and Issue requested management reports as needed.
  • Maintain records and maintenance information in an organized, neat manner that facilitates easy retrieval of information.
  • Maintain copies of all official correspondence.
  • Provide timely responses to corporate and site accounting on all requests for information.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate must have 5 years of experience in a commercial or light industrial environment in a customer service environment utilizing a CMMS.
  • Experience with SAP is considered a strong asset.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy, while prioritizing.
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and Office 365
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
  • Experience in the use of databases and electronic file management software.
  • Strong customer service orientation skills and a desire to achieve results.
