Job Description

Royal Garden is a retirement home for independent elderly people. We are looking for a full-time maintenance assistant. 64- 80 hours biweekly available. The hours would depend on what best fits your personal schedule, we offer lots of flexibility to suit your needs. We are an independent living facility that offers impeccable service. Shifts are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Duties would include painting, help change floor, minor repairs in apartments, lanscaping/snow removal, driving residents to appointments in company vehicle 1 to 2 times per day and any other job pertaining to repairs/maintenance of a building. No experience necessary, our maintenance manager can train on-site and develop abilities with you.

Candidates must be fully bilingual in french and english. Because we serve a frail clientele, the candidate must also be willing to vaccinate against Covid and the Influenza each fall. Must also have a valid driver's license in good standing and provide a police check.

Pay: $21.00-$22.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 32 per week
