Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between designated locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times. The Shuttle Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all passengers.

Duties

Safely operate shuttle vehicles according to established routes and schedules. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays. Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the shuttle vehicle, performing routine inspections and minor repairs as needed. Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Keep accurate records of trips, including passenger counts and any incidents that occur during transport.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving license (CDL Class 1 or 4) is preferred; experience in commercial driving is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on the shuttle vehicle. Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with passengers and team members. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle various passenger needs professionally. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety. Previous experience in a driving or transportation role is advantageous but not mandatory.
