The IT Delivery, Cybercrimes team, under the Vice-President, IT Delivery, Personal Banking, Clients, Data and Financing, supports the Bank's transformation through all the architectural and project execution processes and guidelines. We also have the opportunity to innovate with our delivery methods while re-engineering processes from end to end. We work with all the Bank’s business and IT sectors.
You’ll need to understand the importance of processes when starting a project and you have experience documenting them according to BPMN 2.0 methodology. You’ll need to understand business and technological issues, identify them, analyze them and determine the associated technological and functional needs in collaboration with colleagues. Your role:
Act as Senior Strategic Business Analyst for internal and external business partners
Manage the deliverables of a team of business analysts related to the process norms and work methodology based on market standards
Understand business issues, identify stakeholders’ needs and suggest strategies, considering the varied nature of files in order to support the completion of projects
Carry out various analyses (context, issues, impacts, functional, non-functional and informational, processes, business rules) to produce a diagnostic on gaps between the current and target situation
Define and document functional specification requirements for solution designers and developers, including expected system behaviours, use cases and user interactions with our external partners’ various integrated systems
Support business lines and IT throughout the various steps to carry out mandates
Collect, document and analyze information in order to validate and prioritize client and stakeholder business needs and make sure that they are in line with the Bank’s strategic orientations
Ensure the delivery of solutions that meet business needs and that are also aligned with the target architecture
Produce impact analyses resulting from changes caused by target processes
Be able to establish and optimize target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders
Identify and document information about stakeholders and their needs (problems to be solved, technical requirements, business processes, data flows, etc.)
Organize, coordinate, draft and participate in end-to-end tests
Develop and acquire related skills to adapt to needs
Analyze the data required to deliver the solution
Make the link between business needs and technological requirements
Ensure the delivery of analyses and documents related to harmonious operational change management for stakeholders
Carry out various projects and mandates that have a major impact on the Bank’s profitability and efficiency
Develop innovative systems and approaches related to process automation and optimization with external partners
Interact with managers and different sectors of the Bank to resolve complex integration files.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR university certificate/college diploma and several years of relevant experience
Ability to adapt in an environment undergoing transformation
Experience managing business processes and documentation according to BPMN 2.0 methodology
Experience in business analysis and knowledge of the following business areas: MCP, Financial crime, compliance, Fenergo, project buy-in – Commercial, CRS-Fatca, ICOP
Experience in change management
Solid knowledge of applications, IT environments (infrastructures) and/or the sector’s business activities
Knowledge of commercial processes, AML/KYC, IIROQ, MFDA compliance processes
Client focused and strong interpersonal skills
Team player with the ability to positively influence and motivate stakeholders
Proficient at strategic thinking, analysis and synthesis, verbal and written communication
Ability to present and participate in strategic and executive committees
Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), an asset.
