The Opportunity


In this role as a Business Analyst , you will work closely and collaborate with various internal and external business areas to understand, analyze, and complete requests for IT support or services submitted by the business. This role has felixiblity to be in our Moncton, NB Main Street office location or fully remote within the Province of New Brunswick or hybrid. The work schedule is daytime during core business hours.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of customer service to both our internal and external stakeholders;
  • Quickly analyze, prioritise and support the day to day operational requests;
  • Manage requests submitted by our business stakeholders by establishing clear and agreed upon business requirements for operational support requests;
  • Effectively communicate with our stakeholders, ensuring they are well informed on the progress/status of their requests;
  • Work closely with various testing and business units to ensure required testing has been executed during any required testing efforts;
  • Identify and document defects discovered during any required testing efforts;
  • Support after hours operational production releases and changes that may be required on an adhoc basis;
  • Work with various stakeholders to ensure priorities and expectations are aligned with business needs; and
  • Understand business needs and their link to business requests, defects, or new projects.

Qualifications


Education: University or college diploma in Business or Technology.
Work Experience: Minumum 2 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, and related experience working in a professional client focused support environment dealing with technical requests.

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal);
  • Strong analytical skills with high technical aptitude;
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and the desire to be a team player;
  • Embrace change as a constant and look for create value by working in an efficient and innovative way;
  • Possess strong business acumen, and the ability to understand requests from a stakeholder’s perspective; and
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time.

Language Skills: Bilingualism is considered an asset.
