As a

Machinist - Level 3

here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality components. You will ensure that production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.




As a Machinist - Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you'll work out of our Slemon Park, PEI location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate and maintain various machines such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with engineering and production teams. Perform repairs on fuel control components.

YOU MUST HAVE:

5+ years of experience as a machinist 5+ years experience with CNC machines and programming. 5+ years experience using precision measuring instruments (such as vernier, thread gauge, etc.) to ensure quality standards.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.

WE VALUE:

Technical machining certification/diploma is a plus. Strong technical knowledge of machining processes and tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Experience in aerospace or manufacturing is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
