Position Overview

As Lead QA / Coating Inspector, you lead field inspection and QA/QC coating activities across multiple BC Hydro sites, manage inspection teams, and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

: Requires travel to all regions, BC

Reports to

: QA Engineer / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Supervise QA inspectors and coordinate multi-site inspections. Review and approve inspection and test plans. Lead NCR management and corrective action processes. Prepare audit, flash, and quality summary reports. Serve as the primary technical liaison with BC Hydro.

Qualifications

NACE/AMPP CIP Level 3 Certification (required). 10+ years of experience in coating inspection or QA leadership. Strong knowledge of protective coatings and corrosion mechanisms. Experience with utility, pipeline, or hydro projects preferred.
