We're a people-first MSP that believes in making technology approachable and secure for our clients. Our team enjoys 30 vacation days, flex time, and a genuinely supportive culture - because happy techs make happy clients!
Position Overview
We need a Level 3 Systems Administrator who gets it - someone our CTO can trust to handle anything thrown their way. This role is possibly 60% helpdesk/tickets and 40% internal projects. Every day will be different. You'll be the technical backbone for escalated issues while building and improving our infrastructure.
This isn't a "sit in the background and work on projects" role. You need to love the variety of helpdesk work AND the satisfaction of building systems that prevent future fires.
What You'll Actually Do
Solve complex technical issues that stump the rest of the team
Design and implement networking solutions (site-to-site VPNs, VLANs, routing)
Manage Windows Server environments (AD DS, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, Entra Connect)
Be our M365 and Intune expert (security, device management, troubleshooting)
Jump on urgent client calls when things break
Lead internal infrastructure projects
Mentor junior techs through challenging problems
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients
Must-Haves (We're Serious)
8+ years of IT experience
(MSP background is a huge asset, 5 years of MSP experience is allowed)
Deep Windows Server knowledge
: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Entra Connect
Strong networking skills
: Site-to-site tunnels, VLANs, routing, WiFi design and troubleshooting
: You understand that tickets come first, projects come second
Systematic troubleshooting approach
: You don't just fix things, you understand WHY they broke
Clear communication
: You can explain complex issues to clients without the jargon
Collaborative mindset
: You share knowledge, ask questions, and aren't precious about "your way"
Nice-to-Haves
Microsoft certifications (especially M365/Intune/Entra ID focused)
Azure Virtual Machines and networking experience
RMM platform experience
PowerShell scripting comfort

You think helpdesk work is "beneath" a Level 3
You struggle to context-switch between tickets and projects
You're a "my way or the highway" person
You can't handle direct client communication
You prefer working in isolation over collaboration
