Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the handling, distribution, and management of lumber products within our warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and experience with warehouse distribution processes.

Duties

Safely operate forklifts and clamp trucks to load and unload lumber products. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate inventory management. Build and assemble lumber products as required for customer orders. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform regular inspections of heavy equipment to ensure proper functioning. Utilize order pickers for efficient retrieval of lumber items from storage. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements

Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and shipping/receiving operations. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Previous experience in a lumber or construction-related environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.07-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
