Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring that lumber products are handled, processed, and distributed effectively. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to operate heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety standards.

Duties

Receive and inspect incoming lumber shipments for quality and accuracy. Accurately pick orders based on customer specifications and prepare them for shipping. Load and unload lumber products using forklifts, ensuring safe handling practices. Maintain organization within the warehouse by properly storing materials and keeping inventory records updated. Assist in building displays or setups for lumber products as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet distribution deadlines. Adhere to all safety protocols while operating heavy equipment and performing warehouse tasks.

Experience

Familiarity with order picking processes within a warehouse distribution environment is advantageous. Experience operating forklifts Knowledge of warehouse management systems will be beneficial for this role. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
