Low Voltage & Cable Laborer/installer
Job Description
A locally owned and operated company is looking to hire two labourers to join the team. The successful applicant will be responsible for working on the installation of low voltage cabling in commercial and residential construction environments. This role is ideal for those with past cable/telephone/internet wiring installation in both residential and commercial locations.The company is looking for someone who is able to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, and a eye for detail. The company will work with the successful candidate in educating them on the processes and procedures of completing installs correctly and efficiently.Successful candidates will be contacted directly by the owner.Requirements:
- Clean drivers abstract
- Access to own vehicle as bus services do not reach job sites
- Ability to work in construction environment in all weather conditions through out the entire year
- Previous knowledge of cable installation (i.e. internet or telecommunications)
- Flexibility in working varying hours (shifts are periodically 8+ hours)
- High school diploma
- Full-time
- Ottawa, ON
- Construction (preferred)
- Cable technician (preferred)
- Class G License (required)
- Safety Boots (required)
- Hard Hat
- French not required
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
