We're looking for a Logistics Support Assistant who thrives on keeping things moving -- someone dependable, organized, and ready to roll up their sleeves to support our field crews and equipment operations.

Role Overview

As a Logistics Support Assistant, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting day-to-day field operations. You'll haul trailers, move materials, maintain equipment, and keep the yard running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys variety, teamwork, and problem-solving on the fly.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet & Equipment Support

Operate and maintain company trucks, trailers, and small equipment Support organization, inventory, and inspections of company fleet and equipment

Logistics & Material Handling

Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment to project sites. Safely load and secure cargo; maintain accurate delivery logs. Assist project teams with setup and demobilization activities.

Yard & Inventory Maintenance

Keep the yard and job sites organized, safe, and ready for daily operations. Track and restock consumables, tools, and materials as directed. Support equipment tagging, inspection, and recordkeeping systems.

General Operations Support

Participate in safety meetings and uphold Chermik's commitment to health and safety. Support supervisors and project managers with logistics and site coordination tasks. Take initiative and look for ways to make the day run more smoothly for the team,

Skills & Qualifications

Valid Class 5 driver's license (Class 3 or air brakes an asset). Experience hauling trailers and operating light equipment. Mechanically inclined and comfortable with basic maintenance. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or in a team. Proficient in Microsoft 365; experience with inventory tools an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
