This position is responsible for ensuring the business requirements are met from a physical distribution and logistics perspective for AP Canada. The position is administratively responsible for three people. The Logistics & Distribution Manager will develop strategies to ensure the timely delivery and placement of all finished goods from multiple countries to ultimately ensure the end customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements are fulfilled. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders of many functions and organizational levels will be critical to the success of this position

Manage the daily operational aspects of BASF\xe2\x80\x99s physical distribution network including 3rd party warehouses and the Regina site.
Manage inventory management at all 3rd party warehouses for finished goods and packaging materials and the Regina site for finished goods which includes physical inventory counts and expiring goods management.
Serve as a functional liaison with regional functions to ensure the proper transportation options for the Canadian market.
Oversee the domestic physical logistics operations within Canada to ensure timely delivery of finished goods and develop proactive solutions when needed.
Serve as a functional liaison with the Seed Logistics team to ensure adequate transportation and warehouse management.
Exhibit functional leadership in supply chain/logistics processes and techniques in the development of a logistics strategy for Canada.
Coach and develop staff to meeting ongoing and changing business dynamics.

Bachelor of Business or Agriculture.
8 Years experience in supply chain/ distribution and/or logistics.
Excellent communication/collaboration skills.
BASF systems including SAP.
Strong Leadership skills.
Strong internal and external customer focus.
Change management/analytical skills.
