We are seeking a City & US Logistics Coordinators. You would be an integral member of our logistics group who handle our dispatch & customer service and work \xe2\x80\x9chand in hand\xe2\x80\x9d as a dynamic group to provide efficient & reliable service to our clientele. As a logistic coordinator you are the key communicators with our drivers and counted on to treat everyone with great respect. What your day would look like:
Communicating (via phone/text) with drivers to advise their next pick-up and deliveries.
Working closely with the drivers on any problems they may encounter.
Updating shipment status in the dispatch system (TMW/Truckmate).
Determining the best routes and order of pick-ups & deliveries.
Working closely with fellow dispatchers to co-ordinate the daily activities.
Advise and communicate directly with customers about any issues.
Load plan to maximize use of available space on trailers to promote greater profitability and sequence routes that ensure delivery success. Who you are:
Highly organized and detail oriented.
Ability to be calm and professional in a busy environment.
Able to communicate in a professional, concise & respectful manner.
Excellent multi-tasking skills.
Take pride in your work ethic. Education:
Minimum high school. Higher education would be an asset (but not a deal breaker)
