Requirements

• Commitment to Teck's Health and Safety programs to ensure that everyone goes home safe and healthy every day
• Pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with specialization in Operations and Logistics, Global Supply Chain and Logistics Management, Marketing (or a degree/diploma in a similar field of study)
• A detail-oriented individual with strong data input, reconciliation and management skills
• Exceptional organizational, research, and planning skills
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills - high level of interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication
• Strong demonstrable computer skills. i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI

Responsibilities:

• Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
• Ensure that the logistics and service requirements for Teck products and inbound materials are in place with company and customer needs.
• Develop and act upon relevant KPIs and scorecards for key suppliers and internal customer groups.
• Support internal customer groups in monitoring, arranging, and coordinating Teck product shipments, ensuring external customer needs are met and shipment issues are addressed effectively and promptly.
• Coordinate rail fleet service activity and produce reports and analytics
• Create reports for logistics team and maintain route and rate data for Teck products and by-products.
• Provide support to projects and analytical studies as assigned from time to time
